All of my babies are rescue or shelter animals. Except for Bucca, they joined my family as adults. I follow my mother's alphabetical order tradition when naming them - she started with a cat named Alpha, and her last dog is Bichon Frise Ziggy. I adopted Orion and Quick-Quick when I was living at home, so they're part of my mother's alphabet. When my father moved in with us after my mother passed away, he brought Waldo (the canary, no longer with us), Xuxa (Bichon Frise), Yoyo (the cat, and the reason the canary is no longer with us), and Ziggy (Bichon Frise).
